Late Shri Rajmal S. Jain

(1933 - 2012)

FOUNDER’S MESSAGE- “We believe ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’.

Founder & Chairman – Shree Bhairav Charitable Trust & Hospital, Bisalpur (1968–2012)

Late Shri Rajmalji S. Jain, lovingly known as “Bhaisaheb,” was a visionary humanitarian, philanthropist, and social reformer whose life was entirely devoted to selfless service, healthcare, and the upliftment of humanity. Born on 14 March 1933 in Bisalpur, Pali District, Rajasthan, he dedicated more than four decades of his life to serving the tribal and poor people who really belongs to economically weak in community, and underprivileged, through charitable healthcare initiatives and social welfare activities.

He was the Founder and Chairman of Shree Bhairav Charitable Trust & Hospital, Bisalpur, serving tirelessly from 1968 to 2012. Under his visionary leadership, the institution emerged as a beacon of hope for millions of economically weaker patients across Rajasthan and neighboring regions. What began as a noble mission of free medical service gradually transformed into one of the most respected charitable healthcare initiatives dedicated to restoring vision and improving lives.

In 1968, Shri Rajmalji Ji organized the first free eye care camp in Bisalpur with the aim of fighting preventable blindness in rural and tribal communities. At a time when healthcare facilities were scarce and awareness about eye diseases was extremely limited, he took the bold initiative of bringing quality medical care directly to the villages. Hundreds of patients underwent successful cataract surgeries and received free medicines, food, accommodation, and post-operative care with dignity and compassion. This remarkable initiative laid the foundation of a lifelong humanitarian movement.

Guided by his belief that “Service to Humanity is the Highest Religion,” Shri Rajmalji Ji expanded the activities of Shree Bhairav Charitable Trust into a large-scale mission of healthcare, compassion, and social responsibility. Over the years, numerous free eye camps and medical service programs were conducted under his leadership in remote and underserved areas of Rajasthan and Maharashtra. Thousands of visually impaired individuals regained their eyesight and were given a new opportunity to live with independence and dignity.

His camps became known not only for excellent medical arrangements but also for their discipline, cleanliness, equality, and humane treatment. Every patient — regardless of caste, religion, social background, or economic condition — was treated with the same respect and care. His compassionate leadership inspired doctors, volunteers, social workers, and family members to actively participate in the noble mission of humanitarian service.

Apart from his remarkable contribution to Shree Bhairav Charitable Trust & Hospital, Shri Rajmalji Ji also served as the Chairman of **Mahaveer Hospital, Sumerpur**, where he played an important role in strengthening charitable healthcare services and promoting patient-centered medical care for society. His dedication toward healthcare administration and social welfare helped countless patients receive quality treatment irrespective of their financial condition.

Despite facing personal hardships, financial struggles, and health challenges during various phases of life, Shri Rajmalji Ji remained unwavering in his commitment to service. Even during illness and after major surgeries, he continued to participate actively in camps and humanitarian projects, placing society’s welfare above personal comfort. His life reflected extraordinary determination, humility, sacrifice, and spiritual strength.

What made Bhaisaheb truly exceptional was his simplicity and purity of heart. Although respected across communities and regions for his humanitarian work, he always lived a humble and grounded life. He believed that true service required compassion, honesty, and dedication rather than recognition or fame. His leadership united people from all sections of society and inspired generations to dedicate themselves to social service and humanity.

Late Shri Rajmalji S. Jain’s legacy continues to inspire society even today. Through his vision, dedication, and selfless efforts, he transformed charitable healthcare into a movement of hope, humanity, and compassion. His life stands as a timeless reminder that one individual, driven by kindness and service, can illuminate thousands of lives and create an everlasting impact on society.

Late Shri Jeevraj Jain- Legacy of Service and Leadership

Late Shri Jeevraj Jain dedicated nearly four decades of selfless service to the institution, working shoulder to shoulder with the visionary founder, Shri Rajmalji Bhaisaheb. His association with the institution began around 1975, while the noble mission itself was founded in 1968.

Throughout his long journey with the organization, he played a vital role in the successful execution of every eye camp and remained deeply committed, vigilant, and dedicated to every responsibility entrusted to him. His sincerity, discipline, and service-oriented approach earned him immense respect within the institution and society.

He also served efficiently as the Secretary of the institution and, in 2012, was appointed as the Chairman by Shri Rajmalji Bhaisaheb. He continued to guide the institution with dedication and vision until his voluntary retirement in 2023. Even after retirement, his emotional attachment and active involvement with the institution remained strong until his final days. He passed away in 2024, leaving behind an inspiring legacy of service and humanity.

During his leadership tenure, the institution witnessed remarkable growth and modernization. Several major milestones were achieved, including:

• Construction of a modern Operation Theatre (OT)

• Expansion of eye camp activities

• Introduction of advanced medical equipment and facilities

• Strengthening of organizational infrastructure and services

His visionary leadership and unwavering dedication provided new strength, direction, and growth to the institution.

Late Shri Pushpatbhai – A Life Dedicated to Service and Education

Following the demise of Late Shri Jeevraj Jain, Shri Pushpatbhai — the youngest brother of Shri Rajmalji Bhaisaheb — was appointed as the President of the institution in the year 2023. He continued to serve the organization with immense devotion, dedication, and commitment until his demise in April 2025.

Inspired and guided by the blessings and vision of Shri Rajmalji Bhaisaheb, Shri Pushpatbhai devoted his entire life to social service, education, and humanitarian activities. In 1984, he established a school for hearing-impaired children in Bhiwandi, beginning with only three students. This noble initiative later became a strong pillar for the education, welfare, and empowerment of differently-abled children.

Most of the social and charitable activities in Bhiwandi were carried out under his guidance and supervision, while he also remained continuously associated with the service activities of Bisalpur and the institution.

After the demise of Shri Rajmalji Bhaisaheb, he personally took responsibility for several important educational and social service initiatives of the institution. His contribution towards the upliftment, education, and empowerment of hearing-impaired children was truly remarkable and inspiring.

Under his leadership, two important institutions were established in Bhiwandi:

• Deaf Day School – Established in 1984

• Sinakota Residential School for the Hearing Impaired – Established in 1995

His entire life was dedicated to humanity, education, social welfare, and the service of differently-abled children. His compassion, dedication, and lifelong contributions will always remain inspirational and memorable for generations to come.
